I wrote a story in today's Daily IT Wire about a new certification from ISACA that will cover off governance in the enterprise. Maybe it's about time, but I also wonder how many people you need to get these kind of credentials before they really have an impact.
There's a real network effect for those take that off, like the one for project managment, but until enterprise architects are forced to achieve it the way professional engineers have to get their P.Eng, I wonder what kind of impact on IT governance this will really have. Good luck to anyone taking the exam this December.
