Apple’s Steve Jobs going on medical leave

Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs is embarking on medical leave until the end of June, according to a story in the Globe and Mail.

The reason? His medical issues are “more complex” than he originally thought. He'll remain involved in major strategic decisions over the spring, with COO Tim Cook taking the helm during his absence.

This announcements resulted in a 10-cent drop in share price yesterday.
