Anritsu has added a new E-series platform to its Site Master, Spectrum Master and Cell Master wireless handheld field analyzers. The ruggedized touch-screen devices are used by technicians to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless cable, cellular and WiMAX equipment and networks. The Site Master S331E/S332E/S361E/S362E line is aimed at analyzing wireless base station cable and antenna systems. With frequency coverage from 100 kHz to 6 GHz, the new models can be configured to include a cable and antenna analyzer, spectrum analyzer, interference analyzer, power meter, and GPS receivers. The Spectrum Master MS2712E/MS2713E analyzers assess signal quality across a broad range of RF signals. The Cell Master MT8212E features is a multifuction base station analyzer. “Our new platform allows technicians, contractors, and services providers to work faster and smarter, improve service quality, meet increasingly rigorous key performance indicators, and keep their prices competitive,” said Donn Mulder, VP and general manager of Anritsu’s microwave measurements division. U.S. pricing starts at $7,160 for the Site Master, $8,950 for the Spectrum Master, and $14,950 for the Cell Master.
