All the world’s a stage for abusing your ISP

A Nova Scotia playwright has been arrested for allegedly threatening to hold a support worker at Aliant hostage after failing to get the ISP to fix her Internet connection.

According to a CP story, “When David Arthur Scott, 21, arrived to fix the Internet on Thursday afternoon, he determined the problem was with the computer . . . she told the technician, in a tirade, that he was not leaving her until her internet was working and she told him she was keeping him hostage.”

We’re sure all of this will be sorted out in the courts, but much more exciting will be “Broadband! The Musical,” where the whole exciting story is played out with an all-singing, all-dancing troupe of Aliantettes.
