A Webcam that records in 3D

Take your Skype or Windows Live Messenger videoconferences to anotherlevel with Minoru – a Japanese 3D Webcam now available through Hammacher Schlemmer for US$99.95.

The bendable arms allow the device to hang overthe top of your monitor, while the two eyes contain separate camerasthat record video at 15 frames per second. You can also use Webcam totake 3D photos and record 3D video clips. To view the images in 3D,users need to wear a pair of standard 3D glasses. Five pairs areincluded with the device.

Minoru connects to your PC via USB and requiresWindows XP or Vista. A dual core processor is recommended. You can alsouse the Webcam for standard 2D video.
