EMC expands OEM portfolio for software developers

EMC Corp. announced Monday the expansion of its OEM portfolio for software developers, which will allow users to create and capture rich content and XML applications.

The Hopkinton, Mass.-based company said its commitment to the developer community will give independent software vendors the opportunity to quickly and cost-effectively embed functionality into their software.

The newest piece of EMC’s OEM line is the EMC Documentum XML Store OEM Edition – which aims to manage technical information, publish complex documentation and allow the sharing of data. EMC’s content management products also include: enterprise-strength document management, business process management records management, information rights management and XML data management.
