Cloud up your resume

Cloud computing seemingly has no bounds.

That’s good news if you’re a service provider and if you’re an IT staffer looking after a cloud application.

But researcher Joe McKendrick argues that experience with cloud apps also looks good on resumes of people looking for management jobs.

Think for a moment: If you’re a project manager, ERP manager or manager of a contact centre, cloud experience will be a bonus in the eyes of anyone hiring senior staff.

So cloud not only brings opportunities to your IT department and to users, it can also look good when moving up the corporate ladder.
