BroadSoft sets up R&D shop in Montreal

BroadSoft Inc. is a provider of service delivery and creation systems for next-generation communication networks. The start up was founded in 1998, and is headquartered in Gaithersburg, Md. Last month, Network World Canada staffer Cindy Steinman had the opportunity to speak with Mike Tessler, the company’s CEO, while he was in Montreal for the opening of BroadSoft’s new R&D centre.

NWC: Why did you choose Montreal for the site of your new R&D centre?
