Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Que.-based printer mogul, Brother International Corp. last month announced the availability of three new additions to its MFC line of printer/fax machines. The MFC3100C is designed for workgroups requiring colour printing and colour fax capabilities and provides 1,200 X 2,400 dpi printing at speeds up to 10 pages per minute (ppm) monochrome and eight ppm colour. The MFC9700 and 9800 offer copying and scanning capabilities that the company said is ideal for scanning images from books or magazines. Both models feature true laser printing and copying up to 15 ppm, and Super Quick Scan for scanning speed of two seconds per page. The MFC3100C is estimated at $319.99. MFC9700 is estimated at $1,099.99 and the 9800 is priced at approximately $1,399.99. For details, visit http://www.brother.ca.
