This includes procurement, implementation and  maintenance of all hardware, software and related services. The IT manager  oversees computer systems training, sets technology standards, advises on and  helps enforce adherence to IT usage policies. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Responsibilities&lt;/b&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
&amp;bull;Overseeing the setup, configuration and  deployment of desktops (and associated  software including operating systems, productivity software and enterprise  business applications), servers,  data centre equipment and security tools&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;bull; Supervise troubleshooting, internal customer  support and set/monitor internal SLAs. &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;bull; Hire and develop staff for all aspects of IT  operation within the company&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;  Conduct needs analysis for business projects involving IT&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;  Research, price out and recommend technology  purchases for projects and everyday operations&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;  Articulate the technical requirements for  departmental IT initiatives and estimate ROI.&lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;bull; Project and manage enterprise portfolio of IT assets&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;  Manage relationships with third-party companies  for service, support and product issues,  including outsourcers, developers and other vendors&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;Facilitate communication between departments and  communicate IT-related issues to  senior management as required&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Qualifications&lt;/b&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
Minimum of six years related work experience and  a post-secondary degree in IT management, computer science. Business management education is an asset. &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;  Strong project management skills and a  demonstrated track record in executing on business  strategy&lt;br /&gt;
