joined CDN as a senior writer in 2007. While he was new to the channel he was no stranger to technology journalism, beginning his career in Ottawa with Silicon Valley NORTH in 1998, where he had a front-row seat for the tech bubble burst. After a stint with the Ottawa Business Journal, where he covered everything from the technology sector to municipal politics, Jeff returned to Silicon Valley NORTH in 2001 and moved to Vancouver to head up the magazine's editorial efforts in Western Canada. After leaving the magazine for a freelance career, writing for the Vancouver Sun and the Ottawa Citizen, as well as CDN and ITBusiness.ca along with other industry trade publications, Jeff moved to Toronto to join ComputerWorld Canada as a senior writer in July of 2005, covering enterprise software, programming and new products. Jeff studied history and journalism at Carleton University in Ottawa.
