Canadian firms struggle to retain IT talent says survey A recent survey by Deloitte and the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC) concludes that while Canadian technology and telecommunications firms may be growing, they don't have the strategies that are necessary for retaining IT talent. Part of the issue with lack of talent strategies, is the "the complacency of yester-years," says Sebastien Ruest, vice-president of the risk services group at research firm IDC Canada.
