Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an integrated system of software resources used to manage the core business processes of an enterprise. A key integration element is a centralized data repository that stores and distributes data from and among the different business applications such as finance, manufacturing, human resources, warehouse, etc., all operating on a common platform. An ERP system provides real-time visibility into key business processes enabling more effective decision-making.
