An industry analyst takes a look at the re-branded Rypple and argues it makes a compelling strategy to be disruptive in the HR market

work.com -- the new name Salesforce.com put on Toronto's Rypple earlier this month -- is more than the new parent company's entry into human resource software, argues industry analyst Josh Bersin in Forbes.

In this piece

he says the cloud application aids in goal setting, communication of goals, recognition, rewards as well as performance appraisals.

This is an interesting look at the strengths not only of Work.com but also of the Salesforce platform. In essence Bersin argues that by partnering with other providers of HR-related apps for recruiting and training it is becoming the heart of an ecosystem.
