The see-saw battle in American courts continues, with Samsung notching a win over its smart phone

In case you've lost track of what's going on in courts around the world, here's an update: Samsung won one this week. A U.S. appeals court earlier this week tossed out a July ruling granting an injunction against the sale of its Nexus handset.

The injunction, of course, had no bearing on sales of the device here. Carriers offering it include Bell Mobility, Mobilicity and Videotron. In fact, we're apparently so insignificant in the scheme of things that no one has filed an injunction to stop a competitor's handset from being sold here. Lucky us, I guess. (Although not for Canadian intellectual property lawyers .... )
