For enterprises wanting to get into the nitty gritty of the wireless authentication standard, here's a detailed primer that should untie knots

Security for wireless access points has come a long way in the last five years thanks to the IEEE's 802.1x standard to help authenticate and secure both wireless and wired LANs. But it can be tricky for enterprises to set up.
 
In fact, as this analysis from Network World U.S. points out, it opens a network up to potential connectivity trouble. So this somewhat lengthy piece offers network and security administrators help in nailing things down.
