ON THE ROAD: ComputerWorld Canada’s Rafael Ruffolo and CDN’s Jeff Jedras spar on camera at Citrix’s 2011 media summit in Santa Clara, Calif. Find out how impressed the two were over Citrix’s desktop virtualization demos and what challenges the company will face gaining IT buy-in
At
Citrix Systems Inc.’s
2011 media briefing last week, journalists from North and South America were offered a look into the company’s current desktop
virtualization
solutions and its plans for the future. The virtualization company has abandoned the thin client buzzword, preferring to pitch its technologies at the
thin device
instead.
Both ComputerWorld Canada’s Rafael Ruffolo and CDN’s Jeff Jedras were onsite where they shared their views on the state of Citrix and its product line in 2011 (
see video
