Setting IT user policies that work

The wave of new age technologies that are invading the enterprise has spurred the debate on who sets IT user policy and how organizations can control it

As this article points out, there's no sense in establishing policies that users cannot or will not follow. There's also certainly a case to be made that with employee turnover,  IT policies should be malleable and not set in stone.
