The company is providing the new devices as a perk to customers who are transitioning to its new mobile enterprise operating system

Research in Motion Ltd. has offered to give its enterprise customers free BB10 devices if they participate in a training program.

The BlackBerry 10 Ready Program offer extends to clients at the "advantage" level or higher who go through a short online training course on the new BlackBerry 10 Enterprise Server 10 environment and achieve a mark of at least 80 per cent. Customers will receive their free phones once BB10 devices become generally available at the end of January.

The offer is open until Feb. 28. You can find out more about the program on RIM's Web site.
