Calgary based coffee shop chain embarked on a technology upgrade for its continuously expanding business. How the company managed to save on time and cost

Another important aspect was the competitive nature for new staff in Western Canada. Eskenazi said that anybody who knows the Alberta job landscape understands how important it is to limit employees traveling and wasting valuable time.

“In the tight Alberta labour market, we really have to focus on making the most of people’s time,” Eskenazi said. “Upgrading our technology has really liberated people to do more important work without putting in these tedious man hours. So no longer are people driving around to service locations or inputting and transferring data they shouldn’t need to.”

Good Earth said it expects continued expansion throughout Calgary, as well as Red Deer and Edmonton in Alberta and Kelowna, B.C.
