Oracle wins Winnipeg customer service app bid

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing and Oracle Utilities Business Intelligence on board for the City of Winnipeg Water and Waste Department

Oracle announced today that its Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing and Oracle Utilities Business Intelligence products have been chosen by the The City of Winnipeg Water and Waste Department to help along its customer service initatives.

The near-real-time applications will manage customer account and billing information. The City of Winnipeg chose Oracle due to a reasonable total cost of ownership over the long term, and an ease of use that wouldn’t require costly ongoing IT servicing.
