ITWORLD CANADA CURATED: A week after VMware bought a software-defined networking startup, Oracle gets into the market as well. Here's two takes on the latest deal

The stampede to buy SDN startups is accelerating, with Oracle Corp. the latest to make a move by striking a deal for Xsigo Systems. The company said Xsigo's tools will be combined with Oracle VM server's virtualization technology.
