MTS Allstream expands security offerings

Through a portal made by SecureWorks, the carrier’s customers can get access to security and compliance information.

MTS Allstream Inc. has expanded its managed security offerings. Through a partnership with SecureWorks Inc., MTS Allstream plans to help companies manage and prevent security incidents.

Through a portal managed by Atlanta-based SecureWorks, customers will have access to security information, compliance management and reporting, plus workflow management.

Allstream has released security services in the past, such as anti-spam for small to mid-sized Internet customers. Its local-area networking services also include a security component.

MTS Allstream is owned by Manitoba Telecom Services, and provides connectivity and services through its enterprise soltuions and consumer markets divisions.
