ITtoolbox eases IT purchasing with interactive product catalog

The online resource functions much like a product catalog combining user-generated content and vendor information. Plus, it capitalizes on the tendency for IT professionals to seek information from online forums

Online community ITtoolbox launched an interactive resource to assist IT departments evaluate purchasing decisions.

The ITtoolbox Vendor Research Directory is essentially a product catalog that combines user-generated content with vendor information.

When users are connected with a vendor, their profiles receive instant news and updates from that vendor. Advertising partners get access to IT decision-makers and influencers actively involved in the purchasing process. They, too, can interact with customers and prospects by relaying whitepapers, Webcasts, and news. In addition, advertisers benefit from an SEO strategy to optimize search engine ranking.

The online community works well for the vendor considering it responds to the fact that IT professionals increasingly rely on these types of resources for information.
