Huawei looking into router security allegation

Network equipment maker Huawei is already burdened with suspicions from some governments that it is too close to the Chinese government. Now comes another allegation

Security conferences are supposed to be a places where information is exchanged. It's also where vendors can gather reports about their products and head off potential problems.
 
According to this report, that's what appears to have happened at the recent Defcon conference, where a consulting firm alleged trouble with two Huawei Technologies SOHO and enterprise routers. Huawei quickly said it's investigating.
