Enterprise printers help out bankers, and bulk up imaging, print-job accounting, and faxing abilities

HP announced Tuesday five new printers aimed at the enterprise market.

The hardware vendor partnered up with several companies for these solutions. Troy Group worked on the HP Check Printing Security Solutions, which is geared toward the banking industry and its many rigorous standards and compliance issues.

They new printers also include the HP Imaging and Printing Job Accounting and Security Solutions (with SafeCom), which allows users to better control printing expenses and colour use, protect confidential documents, and be more green through paper and toner use reductions; the HP LAN Fax Solution (with Captaris), which allows users to send and receive faxes from MFPs, digital senders or PCs; and the HP Print Optimization Solution (with Standard Register), which cuts down on printing costs via a print management system.

Finally, Kofax partnered with the vendor to produce the HP Document Capture Solutions to provide flexible document capture tools.
