Host Analytics users get Simba's cloud ODBC driver

IT WORLD CANADA CURATED The driver will give customers the ability to perform analytics on their data in the cloud

Simba Technologies is, not surprisingly, a leader in the market for ODBC drivers, having co-developed it with Microsoft 20 years ago.

One of the interesting things in the ODBC SDKs is the capability to link NoSQL and MySQL data stores. There's also a feature that shifts some of the workload of queries to the underlying databases, a logical design based on a Boolean algebra tree, essentially.
