Cloud security has come a long way since the early years of outsourcing, but it’s still an area with few standards.

The Cloud Security Alliance, an international group service providers, hardware and software companies, is trying to change that by revising its guidelines, but in the meantime organizations are on their own.

Technology writer Emma Byrne has just put out the third part of a series on cloud computing, this one focusing on security-related questions to ask potential providers.
