New features allow co-browsing and social networking elements at online stores

Montreal-based Sosign Interactive Inc. has announced new features for its social shopping platform, Clavardon.

Clavardon is a software package aimed at online stores to allow visitors to co-browse a Web shop with other users and interact with an online sales manager.

New features added to the freshly commercialized application are co-scrolling and navigation, co-highlighting of words within pages and joint form-filling. There's also a social networking element, allowing public profile management, meeting other users and inviting others to join.

The base version starts at US$199 a month. The base package allows unlimited users and up to 500 sessions per month. A free 15-day trial version is available.
