Calgary GPS vendor buys Australian developer

Canadian GPS product vendor announces purchase of Australian developer of precision guidance software

Calgary-based global positioning system product designer and manufacturer Hemisphere GPS will acquire precision guidance software developer, Beeline Technologies Pty. Ltd.

The Brisbane, Australia-based company’s technology geared at agriculture, mining and military, will be integrated with Hemisphere GPS’ Outback product line and Crescent and Eclipse technologies.

MTS announces GPS-based tracking service

Beeline’s offerings will round out Hemisphere’s product and services portfolio, the company said.
