WANTED Technologies of Quebec City has hired Bruce Murray as its new chief executive officer.
WANTED, which provides online data and analytical services for
recruiters and media firms, has developed Web crawling technology
designed to gather data on more than three million online job ads per
week.
Murray, who was already interim CEO, was confirmed as permanent CEO
by WANTED’s board of directors this week. WANTED brought him on board
when they bought Corzen Inc., which Murray founded.
The company announced last week its Analytics product, sold as
software as a service. Analytics collects information from the Internet
and organizes it by company, location, job title, industry and ad
volume. WANTED also analyzes hiring patterns of individual companies
and groups classified by industry.
