Tata Communications launches global VPN service

Tata Communications Ltd. has launched a new global VPN service that will extend access to hard-to-reach locations as well as customer sites without dedicated links.

The India-based company said its Extended Access Service (EAS) will allow customers in over 150 countries to integrate even their most remote locations into a single VPN – without impacting security or dealing with multiple vendors.

“We are committed to offering managed services that leverage our global IP reach and enable our customers of all sizes to deploy efficient, optimized solutions,” Genius Wong, senior vice-president of Global IP and VPN services, said in a release.

The new service also provides users the ability to create multiple independent virtual private networks in conjunction with its multi-VPN service.
