More minutes from Bell Mobility

Bell Mobility has added six Rollover Minutes plans to its portfolio, which will let wireless customers carry over unused local voice minutes into their next month of service.  However, the plans are only available to users with 3-year plans who sign up before Dec. 31.

In a news release Bell said the new plans recognize that some mobile phone and smartphone users may have too many or too few calling minutes to meet their needs in a particular month. “With Rollover Minutes, you no longer have to use ’em or lose ’em. If you undertalk one month, you can overtalk the next,” said Wade Oosterman, president of Bell Mobility and Bell Canada's chief brand officer.

Rollover Minutes plans let subscribers carry over unused local airtime voice minutes for one additional month. For instance, if your Rollover Minutes plan includes up to 400 anytime local minutes per month and you use only 330, you carry over 70 minutes to the next month – a total of 470 minutes in the next month. Hopefully, it will help subscribers balance high and low usage months and avoid additional per-minute charges.

Until Dec. 31, Bell Mobility clients across Canada who sign a three-year contract can choose between six Rollover Minutes rate plans, starting at $30 per month. The plans are broken into three categories all offering a selection of voice minutes: Rollover Minutes, Rollover Minutes & E-mail, and Rollover Minutes, Email & Internet plans that provide unlimited mobile Web access, personal email and Instant Messaging on BlackBerry and Windows Mobile Devices.
