Hemoco bvba of Hamme, Belgium has announced Lansweeper version
3.5.1, which is designed to provide inventories of Windows networks
without requiring administrators to install software agents on each
machine.
The software is designed to get data on each user that logs on to a
machine. The vendor says it also reports defined Windows groups and
system information on each machine, including controllers, peripherals
and memory.
Lansweeper looks for Active Directory objects, processes that are
currently running and Internet Explorer details, such as which ActiveX
controls have been downloaded.
In includes 80 reports and users can create their own reports, such
as lists of executables and dynamic link libraries on target machines.
