Yes, Twitter seems to have reached the tipping point of mass adoption, sometime in the last few weeks. Probably because that's when I started twittering? I can think so if I want.
It took an article/post from CIO magazine to point out why I might want to join up. What I have found is the most common use of a tweet is to post a link to something, like the twitterer's blog. So, blog away everyone, and distribute on Twitter; Twitter becomes a menu to choose from, from sources of interest.
