A Webcam that records in 3D

Take your Skype or Windows Live Messenger videoconferences to another level with Minoru – a Japanese 3D Webcam now available through Hammacher Schlemmer for US$99.95.

The bendable arms allow the device to hang over the top of your monitor, while the two eyes contain separate cameras that record video at 15 frames per second. You can also use Webcam to take 3D photos and record 3D video clips. To view the images in 3D, users need to wear a pair of standard 3D glasses. Five pairs are included with the device.

Minoru connects to your PC via USB and requires Windows XP or Vista. A dual core processor is recommended. You can also use the Webcam for standard 2D video.
