Mac parodies turn their eyes to Dell

The launch of Dell’s Adamo last week will give the YouTube community some new material to work with.

But one of the best parodies I've come across was produced by a group of University of Maryland students called The Bureau about a year ago.

“The group has been around for about four years so far and for the past two years we have been chosen as ‘best performing group’ on campus, which is cool,” said Bureau organizer Chris DeCaro.

The MacBook Air video, which has attracted over one million views on YouTube, is the comedy group’s first attempt at tech parody.

“But it is also by far our most popular video, which is definitely something to keep in mind in our future writing,” said DeCaro.

Thomas Scholtes, Kevin Doran, Eshovo Momo and Dave Smith were involved in the creation, dubbed “Dell's response to the launch of Apple's MacBook Air.”
