open-source project at IBM’s CASCON conference this year.
The annual computer science technology conference, hosted by the IBM Toronto Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) in partnership
with the National Research
Council of Canada, took place at the Sheraton in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
Google’s mobile engineering manager, Alex Nicolaou, presented an overview of Chrome’s
features, what went wrong during Chrome’s development, existing challenges the Google
team faces and user tips. But the focus was open source participation. Nicolaou
urged users to participate in the chromium.org project, provide feedback and share
statistics.
