Jaspersoft Corp. has renewed its partnership with open source data integration firm Talend to help launch the latest incarnation of the JasperETL business intelligence (BI) software platform.
The new JasperETL package will look to integration the most used elements of Talend Integration Suite and provide more power and flexibility to BI deployments in the process. This agreement comes nearly two years after the two open source firms initially decided to cross-licensed their software.
“One of the strengths of open source software is the partner network that exists to provide customers with customized packages that address their most fundamental requirements,” Bertrand Diard, CEO and co-founder of Talend, said in a press release. “The work we do with Jaspersoft is a perfect example of how open source collaboration can reach every level of the customer experience.”
The new version of JasperETL will be offered exclusively from Jaspersoft and will be included in every paid subscription of the Jaspersoft BI suite.
