LANState tells you when clients install new software

10-Strike Software of Ulyanovsk, Russia has announced version 4.4 ofits LANState Pro network monitoring and management software.

LANState Pro is designed to discover network devices such asrouters, servers and printers, and produce a map. It alertsadministrators when hosts or services go down.

Version 4.4 lets administrators monitor lists of installedapplications on remote machines and notifies them when new software isinstalled. Another new feature lets users run external JavaScript andVisualBasic scripts to re-start services, devices or databases thathave stopped.

LANState Pro 4.4 is available for a 30-day trial and can be downloaded from this link. Users wanting to keep the software after 30 days must pay US$249.95.
