TeraGo Networks opens Tier III data centre in Mississauga

The steady expansion of Canadian hosting company TeraGo Networks continued this month with the opening of its latest data centre, a Tier III facility located in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga, Ont.

TeraGo’s latest data centre is located in a facility originally designed for smartphone manufacturer BlackBerry, and became available as the Waterloo, Ont.-based company looked to downsize its real estate footprint. It was renovated to meet TeraGo’s needs, and complements existing facilities in British Columbia and Ontario, including those it gained with its acquisition earlier this year of RackForce.

The ribbon was recently cut on the new facility by company president Stewart Lyons and IT World Canada was there. Here are a collection of some of the top tweets from the launch event.
