Resolve to learn a quick programming skill

Once again its resolution time, that aribirary point in the calendar when many of us resolve to do something (practical/ career-enhancing/for a loved one) over the next 12 months.

It may be a coincidence, but computer science doctoral student Jacob Jensen has just come up with a list of 25 technical skills a software developer or computer programmer can learn in one day.

Things like make a simple, interactive java applet, or read the manual for your favourite language So if you’re in the resolution mood, pick at least one and go to it.
