Q&A: Canada

Calvin Gotlieb, otherwise known as the Father of Computing in Canada, turned 90 years old at the end of March. During a career that has spanned decades and witnessed the evolution of IT, Gotlieb received several awards and accolades including the Order of Canada in 1996. Gotlieb spoke to ComputerWorld Canada’s Kathleen Lau at his home in Toronto about his thoughts on emerging technologies and the future of computing.
