PeopleSoft expands mid-market program with SCM package

PeopleSoft Canada has announced the general availability of Accelerated Supply Chain Management, a turnkey supply chain product and services internet solution for Canadian enterprises with less than $750 million in annual revenues. The company claims it

links critical business processes such as order-to-cash and procure-to-pay, enabling collaboration with customers and suppliers across the extended supply chain. The solution is said to include all the operations that are essential in delivering real-time transactions to customers, suppliers, employees and partners. The company says it can be readily integrated with all other Accelerated eBusiness Solutions including Accelerated Customer Relationship Management, announced earlier this year.

Included in the fixed-price are services provided by PeopleSoft Consulting or PeopleSoft Consulting Alliance Partners, technical training, and end-user training provided by PeopleSoft University. Depending on a customer’s environment, the solution can be implemented in 12 weeks, says PeopleSoft.

The announcement comes on the heels of PeopleSoft Canada’s launch of its overall mid-market program, PeopleSoft 8 Accelerated eBusiness Solutions, billed as the first turnkey solution that combines pure-internet eBusiness

applications, rapid implementation services, training and financing for enterprises ranging from start-ups to companies with $750 million in revenue.

Along with Architecture JumpStart, a hardware platform offering through Compaq and IBM, PeopleSoft Canada claims to offer a fully collaborative picture of the mid-size enterprise.
