Lenovo releases MacBook Air rival

Lenovo unveiled today the ThinkPad X300 laptop, an ultra-portable device aimed at the mobile workforce looking for an ultra-thin and light notebook.

The computer measures less than three-quarters of an inch thick at its thinnest point, and has a starting weight of 2.9 pounds.

It includes solid-state drive storage, LED backlit display, longer battery life and enhanced wireless connectivity, along with green features like low-voltage processors that earned it a “gold” rating using the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool.
