Kaseya opens branch in India

BANGALORE – A British-based maker of remote managed service software for providers has opened operations in India, with plans to expand its network of partners, resellers and customers into the Indian market.

Kaseya will target managed service providers and corporate customers in the region, and has appointed Girish Krishna Murthy as managing director- India to spearhead the new expansion. The vendor will have offices in Bangalore and Mumbai and will soon kick start a series of seminars for the channel in the country.

Martin Ashby, executive vice-president of APAC Kaseya, said that his company’s expansion into India was a big strategic initiative and a logical step for sustained growth. “The focus on easing the complexity of providing IT-managed services is driving customers — both corporate customers and IT solution providers — to the Kaseya platform,” said Ashby. He further said that the company’s focus has always been on delivering the most superior technology, and that focus is paying off in customer satisfaction and brand reputation as well as growth. The company witnessed a sustained growth of over 200 percent over the past year.

Kaseya Corporation CEO, Gerald Blackie, added that the traditional break/fix model, the core of SME IT services, is making way for new and improved proactive, automated managed service delivery.

“In an increasingly competitive environment, the Kaseya solution helps Managed Service Providers to deliver the depth, breadth and quality of service required to enhance the performance of the SMB,” said Blackie. He added that the highly scalable Kaseya IT automation software will support MSPs in delivering corporate level services to service a growing demand in the region.

Last year, the vendor also launched the Kaseya emPower Program, a comprehensive set of service offerings and support resources, designed to ensure successful implementation of Kaseya’s IT Automation Framework.

By providing product and business process education, tools and templates, and out-tasked service offerings, Kaseya empowers its customers to exceed the expectations of the consumers of IT services through proactive IT management and automation.

The Kaseya emPower Program consists of three distinct elements — each one delivering a unique set of services and support. These include Kaseya emPower Out-Tasking, Kaseya emPower Toolkit and Kaseya emPower Education.
