IT’s most powerful women

It seems like we’ll see fewer and fewer of these stories in the future. One day, in fact, it will seem like a novelty that news outlets even bothered to write specifically about “powerful women” as a story in themselves.

 

The fact is that many gender barriers continue to be broken down in this field and pretty soon there won’t be many left. Both Sheryl Sandberg and Marissa Mayer have proven that being a top executive and a mother are not mutually exclusive, while many other women are demonstrating that the wage gap is beginning to close.

The last “boy’s club” in tech appears to be in the tecnnical fields themselves, but even that is changing.
