Direction 2. Exploit the company’s information resources, so there is better intelligence provided about the business.

Direction 3. Selectively introduce new forms of information technology, enabling new business capabilities and new cost structures.

Direction 4. Focus on opportunities (including integration) in the exploration-mining-metallurgical processing value chain, maximizing flow-through benefits.

Direction 5. Improve the IT delivery mechanism, in terms of organization and practices, so that business success is not compromised.
