HP Canada paints it green

HP Canada unveiled today several products, tools, services, and initiatives to aid its customers in greening up their operations.

New services include an enterprise printing assessment service and a carbon calculator that are aimed at improving energy and paper use, and reducing emissions, along with reaping cost savings.

HP Canada also debuted a new global paper policy governing the sustainable manufacturing and use of paper sold to HP clients, and its own packaging and office printing.

Hardware was represented, too, in the form of a new inkjet printer made almost entirely from recycled materials.

Also introduced was a new label, entitled HP Eco Highlights, that will alert buyers to ID the eco-friendliness of a given HP product or service.
