For those readers unfamiliar with Network World Canada’s Signature Series, the objective of the Series is to give Canadian network managers a healthy dose of information on a particularly pertinent networking topic. It would be difficult to find a topic more pertinent and timely than e-commerce. Whether it’s through business-to-business transactions or a Web-enabled storefront, it sometimes seems like everybody is flocking to rig up some sort of e-commerce operation.
